1. Single Purpose & Core Functionality

Thimi transforms the Chrome new tab into a peaceful, atmospheric sanctuary by pairing curated mood music with live weather updates, customizable HD wallpapers, clock designs, and a dual Nepali Bikram Sambat / English calendar.

2. Information We Handle

• Location Data: Thimi requests client-side geolocation permission strictly to query non-sensitive local weather metrics (temperature and weather status) from the Open-Meteo API. Your exact coordinates are never stored, logged, or transmitted to any tracking servers.
• Local Storage: Thimi uses Chrome storage.local to save your settings (active theme, wallpaper index, custom fonts, accent color preferences, and player state) strictly on your local device.

3. Third-Party Web Services

Thimi communicates directly with the following public APIs to retrieve ambient content:

• Open-Meteo API: Fetches live weather conditions without tracking user identity.
• Unsplash API: Fetches high-resolution background wallpapers and photographer profile attributions.

4. Data Sharing & Sale

We do NOT collect, sell, trade, track, or share any personal information, browsing history, or user data with any third parties or advertisers.
